This authentic and comfortable holiday rental is situated in a very peaceful rural setting.

Nîmes is 20 minutes drive away, Uzès 15 and Pont du Gard, Alès as well as the nature park of the Cevennes 30.

Your holiday rental is a completely independent part of an ancient farm building. It has been renovated most recently. The tasteful furnishing is perfectly in line with the old authentic building. Moreover, the special layout of the holiday house provides comfort and privacy for each inhabitant: The rental actually consists of one separate small house (40 m2) and two adjoining entities (90 m2 + 60 m2) with private entrances, which are situated in a building right next to the small house.

The rental offers a large garden, three very well equipped terraces (long dining tables, comfortable chairs, high quality BBQ…), a large swimming pool (16 m x 4 m, depth 1,65 m), a pool surround with sunloungers, shaded seats near the pool house and a terrain for the game of Petanque. Moreover, a roofed table tennis table is available near the car park.

The three parts of your rental are situated next to each other and each entity has a private terrace with a view on the garden and the swimming pool. The small house has a bedroom (double bed, writing desk, armchair) and a bathroom (bath tub +WC). Next to the small house is situated the second building of the rental, which is far bigger. It has two separated “apartments”, which you access via the terraces. One of these “apartments” offers a large bedroom furnished with a double bed (TV set with satellite channels), an adjoining bedroom for a baby furnished with a baby cot as well as a spacious bathroom (bath tub, shower, WC). The second apartment is the heart of your holiday rental. It has a perfectly well equipped, spacious kitchen with a dining table (electric oven, microwave, freezer, 5 hotplates, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster…), a cosy lounge (TV set with satellite channels, stereo) and a bedroom with a private bathroom (shower + WC), which is furnished with a double bed. Moreover, another bedroom furnished with a single bed (110 cm) is available here. It also has its private bathroom (shower + WC). A storeroom with a second refrigerator is also available.

Practical advice

Wireless internet access is available on the whole property. At night, you can illuminate the swimming pool as well as the garden. A washing machine and a dryer are available in a separate room near the car park. Five bicycles are at your disposal.
Your landlords live in another part of the farm building and have their own swimming pool and garden. They cannot view your rental and garden from where they live. But if you should need help or advice, do not hesitate to turn to them. They will be most happy to be at your disposal.
Shopping facilities for your everyday needs are about 1 km away, a super market can be found 5 km away. Organic vegetables are on sale in a tree nursery, which is just some hundreds metres away from your rental. There are parking spaces for 5 cars on the property. Two are roofed.

Leisure activities

The holiday rental is most suitable for a restful holiday in a beautiful and most comfortable setting.
Possible activities:
Hiking, jogging, cycling.
Sightseeing in Uzès and its environments, which are famous for the pottery, which is produced here.
Sightseeing in Nîmes with its Roman arena from the first century and other well-conserved testimonials of Roman architecture (Maison carrée, Tour Magne).
Sightseeing at Pont du Gard, one of the world’s most important monuments of Roman architecture.
Trips to Arles and Avignon (50 minutes drive).
Trips to Alès and the unspoiled nature of the Cevennes (30 minutes drive)…
