This romantic stone cottage is situated in a beautiful rural setting. Surrounded by cherry trees it offers all the calm and the charm of the Provençal countryside. Formerly used for agricultural purposes, it has been renovated recently and provides all the necessary comfort of a holiday home. In April you will enjoy the lovely cherry blossom. In June and the beginning of July you will appreciate the fruits.
You enter the house via a terrace (table, BBQ) and find yourself in the cosy living room with its open fireplace (TV). There also is the open kitchen (electric oven and hotplates, washing machine, coffeemaker).
The first floor provides the bedroom (double bed 140 cm), the modern, tastefully decorated bathroom (shower) and a separate WC.
On the Eastside of the cottage there is a second cosy terrace, protected from wind and sun.
Furthermore, the house offers a beautiful view of the picturesque village of Villars (three restaurants, one bakery).
Practical advices
Well-educated animals are welcome. There are parking spaces on the property in front of the house. The cottage has an alarm device and electric heating. Towels are provided (service included in the rent).
The first supermarket is situated 8 km from the house.
Leisure activities:
One of the biggest and most typical markets of Provence takes place, every Saturday in Apt. Luberon is a paradise for hikers (in particular the forest of cedars in Bonnieux offers a natural didactic path with panels of indication on the flora), cyclists (the Mount Ventoux, the giant of Provence, culminates in 1912 m height), to riders and mountain climbers.
Beautiful and peaceful, 1148 created Cistercian abbey in Senanque.
River trip on the Sorgue in the canoe or kayak.
Golf course in Saumane de Vaucluse, 18 holes, 9-holes compact unit + Practice.
